Young women 17-24 years of age (must be a high school graduate by state pageant and not older than 24 by December 31, 2016) are eligible to compete.  Each contestant will compete in Personal Interview, Talent, Swimsuit/Physical Fitness, and Evening Wear. ​Each contestant must also adopt a community service platform that they will be responsible for promoting if crowned Miss Greater Baton Rouge or Miss Capital City. 

In order to be eligible to compete, each MISS contestant must donate $100 per preliminary pageant to the Childrens Miracle Network. All contestants will participate in our opening number.  Contestants are asked to wear any combination of Red, Black, and White (denim, skirts, pants, cardigans, etc..; Think Varsity/Prep, school girl/spirit group attire) to complement our theme "Geaux Rouge".
